Meet Christian.
A few years ago I was reading the paper and came across a big ad asking for donations for this little boy to have heart surgery. I think maybe it was for a garage sale if I’m remembering right. I had never met him before but I did recognize his Dad’s name because I went to school with him. We didn’t have the money at the time to donate anything so I cut his picture out of the paper and hung it on my fridge. I prayed for him every time I went to the fridge. I don’t remember when that was exactly but I didn’t take it down until we moved into our new house (which was just about a month ago)…. And do you know what? I got to meet him and photograph his precious family last Saturday. It was such a joy to see him playing around with his brother, dancing for me and holding his baby sister’s hand. I wanted to tell him and his parents right then, “I know you. I have been praying for you for years.” But I was so afraid that I might bust out in tears that I didn’t. (Because yes, I have done that before! lol..) So here I am telling you now, Sarah and Juan, I have been praying for Christian all this time. It was such a blessing to me to get to see him and spend a little time with you all. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with me
Our God is faithful. kjae

Kilah, after reading this you brought big ole tears from my eyes and i had to wake sarah up to read these kinds words you wrote. Plus the pictures of course, haha, but i really do appreciate your words about Christian. He is an inspiration and a motivator for why get up every morning and do what i do. I love him and my other kiddos so much and i thank the ALMIGHTY GOD for blessing me with them. And for giving me this great woman named Sarah! Thank you again for doing these awesome pics and also the blog. I will say an extra prayer for you thanking HIM for people just like you! Juan~
I am glad it blessed you. It really was so awesome to me to get to meet him after I had prayed for him for so long. You sure ARE blessed!! Thank you for letting me photograph you guys.
It was a pleasure..
Our family went through the same thing with Sebastian and I can honestly say without prayer, we wouldn’t have gotten through everything! One Prayer can go a long way! Your pictures are great and I don’t know this family but I’m glad their son is doing better!
